Isla McRobbie

Isla has over 25 years experience in the building and construction industry, firstly as a practicing architect for over 10 years, and then as a construction lawyer.  She is now a partner in the Projects, Infrastructure and construction team at  law firm Jackson McDonald, with a broad range of clients including Principals, Consultants and Contractors.

Isla has recently ended a long term role on the Architects Board of Western Australia (with the last four of those as chair) and remains on the board of the Master Builders Association in the role of vice president. She has been a mentor for 5 years in the NAWIC Mentoring programme (National Association of Women in Construction) and enjoys the diversity of women from within the construction sector that she meets in that role.
Isla hopes that she brings the insights and perspectives that she has (and continues) to gain from each of those roles to, and for the benefit of the other roles.
